Hello,
I recently ordered Powerslim and was amazed at how effortlessly I received my order. I started taking Hoodoba Pure after waiting nearly a month for my order. I was two weeks into my supply of Hoodoba when my Powerslim arrived, and switched brands immediately. I am currently taking Powerslim 6x a day.
I was taking Hoodoba 750mg 5x a day. It was working fine, although I did find myself waking up in the middle of the night and eating a 1/2 PB&J or something small like that. Today is my second day of Powerslim. It's great. I feel just as good as I did on Hoodoba, but I seem to enjoy Powerslim better. However, I am waiting to see if I wake up with the munchies tonight!
I have a question. I am wondering if you could explain to me the cautionary maximum 6 caplets dosage of Powerslim. I have not seen similar suggestions on other "authentic" products. Is the Powerslim 20:1 ratio considered to be more potent than the other 750mg brands?

The dosage directions on POWERSLIM are based upon the traditional usage of the San Bushmen with the Hoodia gordonii plant. Kedric and I have been to South Africa a number of times and met with the Bushmen on one particular occasion. They told us that traditionally, they would eat a "spear" sized amount of the plant, which equates to about 1200mg of Hoodia. Our capsules are 400mg each; in order to reach a comparable amount of Hoodia, as traditionally used, you would need 3 capsules - 1200 mg. By taking six per day you are getting a full 2400 mg of genuine Hoodia gordonii, nearly twice as much as the traditional dosage.
Depending on your body, you may need a higher level of Hoodia to build up in your system to feel the effects. With twice the traditional dosage level it is more than enough Hoodia, if actually pure and real Hoodia, than you need to feel the effects. Additionally, Hoodia is known to suppress your thirst and it is very important that you continue to drink water even if you do not feel thirsty. It is easy to become dehydrated and your body processes excess weight better at higher levels of hydration.
We want to make sure that the Hoodia not only works for you, but that you stay hydrated and that one bottle lasts you a sufficient amount of time so that you can lose weight as quickly and safely as you would like.
A couple other general words...
While many other "hoodia" products claim they contain real Hoodia, very few actually do. Before you purchase any product make sure that the manufacturer provides you with to HPLC, TLC and Microscopy results the shipment of Hoodia from which their product was produced. This is the only way to be sure that you get 100% pure Hoodia in your products. A company could claim to have 1500mg of Hoodia per capsules, but if it's nothing but rice powder or sawdust you're never going to have any results! It pays to do your due diligence!
And of course, if you are unsure about taking Hoodia or if you have extenuating medical circumstances we do suggest that you speak with your physician before taking Hoodia.
